HISTORY

NIPPON CARBIDE INDUSTRIES (THAILAND) CO., LTD. Or NCI(TH) (formerly known as THAI DECAL CO., LTD. Or TDC) was established in Thailand for more than 30 years with the purpose of manufacturing high quality sticker. NCI(TH) is one of NCI group (NIPPON CARBIDE INDUSTRIES CO., INC.) which was established in Japan for more than 80 years and specializes in developing film sheet for manufacturing automotive industry stickers

NCI(TH)’s main products are Stripe/Label Sticker, 3D soft emblem, Potting Resin, and Retroreflective Sheets. NCI(TH) emphasizes on serving customers in Motorcycle, Automobile, and Electric appliances manufacturer by using machines, materials and modern technologies from Japan as well as using the printing expertise which has been accumulated for a long time to meet customers’ need for both domestic and overseas.

ACTIVITIES

KYT Activity for Safety Culture

KYT Activity is an activity to analyze and anticipate danger that may occur from work, also specify measure and method to handle the danger.

Our company is aware of Safety First, so all employee must perform KYT activity whenever they perform any work that doesn’t have a clear working procedure, including non-routine work. So that, everyone can work safely, also to remind and to create awareness to all employee before start working.

Moreover, KYT activity can create unity among employee and create safety awareness and safety culture within organization.

NCI(TH) supported toys and snacks on children’s day.

Children’s day in Thailand is on second Saturday of January every year. (This year was on January 13) NCI(TH) had supported toys and snacks to community and Fire and Rescue Department who prepared activities for children. This was one part of effort to achieve SDGs that is “To live sustainably with local community”. We support this activity every year and we hope that every children will grow up healthily. In future, we will continue to support this kind of social activities.

NCI(TH) gave electric fans to temple as a lottery prize at “Temple Fair” and gave “Animal Sanctuary” label to community.

NCI(TH) had given electric fans to temple as lottery prize at “Temple Fair” which was one of effort to achieve SDGs that is “To live sustainably with local community”.

Temple fair is the same as Ennichi (縁日) in Japan. Each temple will perform this fair once a year and varies in each location. There will be snack stalls, toy stalls, and other stalls which entertain people in community. NCI(TH) gave 10 electric fans as lottery prize at Temple Fair.

Furthermore, as one part of effort to achieve SDGs that is “To live sustainably with local community”, we also gave “Animal Sanctuary” label as a request from community, because areas around temple are animal sanctuary area, so it is not allowed to hunt any animals. Community representatives knew that NCI(TH) is stickers manufacturers, so they came to consult us for making “Animal Sanctuay” label by using oure materials and giving to community to attach on those areas.

NCI(TH) will continue to support this kind of social activities.
